WHAT YOU WILL DO

The District Sales Manager Kia Insurance is responsible for developing implementing and expanding district-level sales initiatives that drive growth of Hyundai Capital Insurance products including Vehicle Service Contracts Prepaid Maintenance GAP and other vehicle protection products. This role serves as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor for assigned dealers providing sales support training and consultative guidance to increase product penetration strengthen dealer engagement and achieve annual sales objectives. The position partners closely with dealers and internal business partners to identify opportunities resolve F&I-related challenges and support the continued growth of HCIs insurance product portfolio.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Develop and execute assigned district-level sales strategies to increase dealer adoption product penetration and revenue growth for Hyundai Capital Insurance products including Vehicle Service Contracts Prepaid Maintenance GAP and other vehicle protection products.

  • Build and manage strong dealer relationships by serving as the primary sales contact and trusted advisor for assigned dealerships identifying business opportunities addressing dealer needs and supporting achievement of annual sales objectives.

  • Provide consultative sales support training and product education to dealer principals general managers finance managers and F&I teams to improve product knowledge sales effectiveness and customer presentation of vehicle protection products.

  • Analyze district performance sales trends and dealer results to identify growth opportunities monitor progress against goals recommend action plans and communicate insights to internal leadership and business partners.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and dealer personnel to resolve F&I-related challenges support program implementation ensure compliance with business requirements and strengthen the overall dealer and customer experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales account management business development dealer relations automotive finance insurance or related field including demonstrated experience developing sales plans managing assigned territories or districts and achieving sales growth penetration or revenue objectives.

  • Experience working with automotive dealerships F&I operations vehicle protection products or captive finance/automotive financial services preferred.

  • Experience providing training consultative sales support or product education to dealer customer-facing or field sales teams preferred.

  • Automotive or financial services industries preferred.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Marketing Sales or related discipline.

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.

  • Strong knowledge of sales strategy account management territory management and consultative selling practices.

  • Knowledge of automotive dealership operations F&I processes and vehicle protection products including Vehicle Service Contracts GAP Prepaid Maintenance and related insurance products.

  • Ability to develop and execute sales plans that increase product penetration dealer engagement and revenue performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive dealer conversions increase profitability and leverage deep product expertise.

  • Strong relationship-building influencing negotiation and consultative sales skills with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to dealers and business partners.

  • Ability to analyze sales performance dealer trends and market opportunities to identify gaps recommend action plans and track progress against goals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation facilitation and training skills.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across sales operations product compliance and other internal teams.

  • Results-oriented with sound judgment integrity adaptability and the ability to work independently in a field-based or regional sales environment.
