As a Distribution Planner you will become the SME in a specific geographic area where you will be balancing the most cost-effective andâcustomer-focusedâschedule to meet both the company goals andâcustomerâneeds. You willâcollaborateâwith supply chain teams internally to resolve any day-to-day issues to continuously supply ourâcustomersâin thisâexcitingâ24/7âenvironment monitoring multiple systems throughout the day to provide world-classâcustomerâserviceâto our valuedâcustomers.

PrincipalâResponsibilities:
Promote Messers safety goals andâfosterâa positive teamâenvironment
Scheduleâcustomerâdeliveries to avoidâserviceâinterruptions at the lowest cost with the greatest utilization of assets and payloads
Monitor alerts for changes inâdemandâand adjust the delivery plan asâneededâto ensure continuous supply toâcustomers
Use proprietary software systems to accurately maintain data andâdetermineâforecastedâcustomerâdemand
Manageâmultiple tasks andâadaptâto changing priorities identifying and resolvingâcustomerâand location issues
RequiredâSkills:
Prior transportation experience preferred
Effective written and oralâcommunication skills
Goodâcritical thinkingâand math skills
Excellentâcustomerâserviceâskills
Capable of working efficiently with automated systems
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferably in business logistics or supply chain management OR 3 years of transportation dispatch scheduling/planning experience acceptable with HSD in lieu of Bachelors Degree
