Job Summary

Job Purpose:

To provide leadership in the Distribution Centerand providesupport to all other Distribution Centers. To direct and manage all the daily functions of running a profitable distribution center including the following: sales budgets inventory control personnel building maintenance storeadministrationand new business. This position is accountable for the Profit & Loss for its location and contributes to the overall profits of the district and company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan coordinate and direct operational activities for the Distribution Center

  • Develop and manage annual Distribution Center budget to ensureprofitability

  • Direct day to day operations for the Inside Sales Professionals Warehouse and Delivery personnel

  • Responsible for Performance Management and PTO

  • Work with sales staff to ensure competitive pricing whilemaintainingacceptable profitmargins

  • Responsible for Distribution Centers Inventory from daily cycle counts to annual Physical Inventory and partner with Inventory group asneeded

  • Supply Credit department with customer information to aid incollections

  • Develop relationships with TMs and customers toinsurecustomersatisfaction

  • Identifyprospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to sales team (Territory Managers or Account Executives)

  • Developlong termbusiness relationships with our customers to help promote sales growth and gain acceptance.

  • Hold monthly teammeetings

  • Coordinate building maintenance andsecurity

  • Coordinate training classes for customers and employees with Tech Services

  • In conjunction with G&A group responsible for internal audit reports

  • Maintainall required certifications required by DOTOSHAand company safetyprograms

  • May perform similar job responsibilities as ISP and Warehouse Manager

  • Participate inafter hoursOn Call Schedule and Training Classes

  • Work cooperatively withothers

  • Comply withall company policies andprocedures

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands to finger handle or feel objectstoolsor controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance;stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee may work in environments as cold as 20 degrees or as hot as 105 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalentexperience

  • 3-5 years of management skills

  • 3-5 years HVAC experience

  • 3-5 years sales experience

  • 3-5 years customer service experience

  • 3-5 years warehouse/distribution experience

  • Proficient computer skills in MS office

  • Forklifttraining

  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office

  • Possess a valid driverslicense

  • Possess a satisfactory driving record asdeterminedby Company Driver Policies

  • Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurancepolicy

  • Qualify under federal andstateregulations to drive the vehicle in question

TravelRequirement:

  • Up to 20% travel to branches and other operating companiesrequiringsome overnight stay travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extendedstay
