Distribution Associate II- Stand-up Forklift

Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse Stand up forklift shipping / receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration markets.

LOCATION: Depew NY 14043
POSITION: Right to Hire
PAY RATE: 21.00hr
HOURS: 8:30am to 5:00pm
BENEFITS: Medical

DUTIES:

• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Under general supervision performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition.
• Gathers verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Forklift
• Steel Toe Boots
• Drug Test
• Background Check

ABILITIES:

• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading writing and numerical ability.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
