Job Summary:

Performs activities involved in lens pulling labeling assembling and shipping of contact lens promotional kits to be used by eye care practitioners. Works under general supervision.

• Employee applies specific branding labels to kit components.
• Performs systematic receipt verification of transfer orders.
• Performs assembly of fit set kit components for eye care practitioners.
• Performs product restock and put-away tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining quality standards during the kit assembly process and performing quality control inspections on finished kits.
• Performs physical counts on kit inventory components to maintain high level of inventory accuracy.
• Prepares kit orders for shipment including checking for accuracy (product and quantity) against shipping order and final packaging and labelling of shipping container. Delivers order to shipping/loading dock for pick up.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• As business needs dictate works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in an inventory control or receiving environment preferred.
• Forklift man-up RF (radio frequency) gun experience preferred.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.
• Exhibits good communication skills verbal written and comprehension of the English language.
• Basic PC skills.
• Forklift/man-up/RF gun experience preferred.
• Must possess high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Knowledge of ERP (enterprise resource planning) system a plus.

Work Environment:

• Normal warehouse conditions included noisy dusty hot or humid conditions working near moving mechanical parts and some exposure to extreme seasonal temperatures.
  

Physical Demands

• The physical demands of this role could require extended periods of standing and walking frequent use of fine motor skills and coordination and regular movements such as bending crouching and kneeling. It also involves occasional lifting up to 45 lbs. pushing/pulling and limited sitting climbing or equipment operation.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation the starting base pay for this role is $19.00/hr. and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
