Provides assistance for on-the-job training of new employees and cross-training of current employees. Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers. Participates and provides input for process improvement programs Knowledge and Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Process written and oral communication skills sufficient to speak clearly and distinctly and read in Experience: Minimum of one (1) year inventory control or shipping / receiving experience and Competencies: Computer skills preferred: SAP Processweaver FedEx Manager MS Office Word Excel and Outlook. Performs expanded basic arithmetic calculations. Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Must be detail oriented organized possess good analytical verbal and written communication Used: Standard office equipment calculator computer wedge scanner printers and shipping software. Manual and electric pallet jacks. Scales. Electric shrink wrap Requirements: Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous day-to-day activities of a primarily productive and technical nature. (Lifting 60lbs / Carrying 40lbs.) Moderate lifting carrying bending pushing/pulling climbing and prolonged standing. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items works with fingers and perceives attributes of objects and material. Requires the ability to judge distance and space relationships (i.e. visualize objects of multiple dimensions) Ability to work in a well-lighted climate controlled warehouse setting with adequate ventilation.
