Our client is growing their team and is seeking a dependable organized Dispatcher to support their fast-paced transportation operation. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from8:00am5:00pm with a one-hour lunch.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking solving problems and coordinating people and schedules while working in a team-oriented office environment.

Job Duties:

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers
• Enter and process transportation orders
• Dispatch drivers and assign loads based on operational needs
• Contact dealerships regarding COD deliveries
• Prepare driver packets with permits flyers and required paperwork
• Manage driver assignments based on qualifications availability and CDL requirements
• Monitor pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance
• Update schedules and delivery information as needed
• Contact inactive drivers regarding availability
• Maintain daily communication with dispatchers drivers and customers
• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting daily transportation operations

Requirements:

• Previous dispatching transportation logistics or customer service experience preferred
