Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor
Reports To: Division Manager

Division: Pineville NC
Summary:
As a Dispatch Supervisor you will support field operations by coordinating crews and equipment amongst a portfolio of projects.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate company personnel and equipment of assigned projects to achieve maximum efficiency and profitable use of resources.
- Correspond with Store and Operations Manager regarding job orders
- Oversee dispatch department with day-to-day operations.
- Assist with implementation of company safety policies.
- Maintain various logs using electronic systems as well as local files.
- Adhere to company procedures policies and protocols as set forth in the Employee Handbook
- Demonstrate positive interactions with the public and positive interpersonal relations in dealing with fellow employees supervisors and other department employees so that productivity and positive employee relations are maximized
- Support and contribute to effective safety and risk management efforts by adhering to established policies and procedures maintaining a safe environment promoting accident prevention and identifying and reporting potential liabilities
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of Excel Word processing software and inventory software is a must.
- Ability to learn new programs.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3-5 years experience in Supervisory role preferred.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands reach with hands and arms talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outdoor weather conditions; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work in precarious places; extreme cold (non-weather); and extreme heat (non-weather).
