What are we looking for
- Washing & Sanitizing: Scrape rinse and load dishware glassware and silverware into commercial machines; hand-wash oversized pots pans and delicate items.
- Restocking: Sort and return clean plates utensils and equipment to designated kitchen and dining room service stations quickly.
- Kitchen Sanitation: Sweep mop and scrub kitchen floors empty trash and recyclables and clean dish pits or back-dock areas.
- Machine Maintenance: Monitor water temperatures chemical levels and cleanliness of dish machines reporting mechanical issues right away.
- Team Support: Assist culinary staff with basic kitchen cleaning deep-cleaning projects or prep area maintenance when needed.
Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Stand for long shifts bend frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Environment: Tolerate hot humid and loud backstage kitchen settings.
- Availability: Work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays common at resort properties.
- Standards: Follow strict health department safety hygiene and HACCP guidelines.
