POSITION SUMMARY
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by ensuring a clean dining room environment. This team member supports the servers and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining areas of our senior living community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room including floors and service stations.
- Clean dishes in a timely and restock service stations
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines properly and safely
- Support overall dining room operations and communicate resident needs to servers or supervisors.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide friendly and respectful service to all residents guests and staff.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and certificates:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required.
Experience Competencies and Skills:
- No experience necessary entry-level welcome.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or dining environment is a plus.
- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with seniors.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
