Dishwasher PM

At The Madison Concourse Hotel our Dishwashers are part of the team behind every meal we serve every banquet we host and every busy night in our kitchen. Youll work alongside our culinary and service teams to keep dishes equipment and workspaces clean and ready for whatever comes next.

This is a full-time position starting at $18/hour. Youll primarily work evening shifts with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Its busy. Its hands-on. And sometimes its messy. But youll have a team around you and youll know that the work youre doing helps everyone else do their jobs well.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Operating the commercial dishwasher and washing dishes utensils pots pans and other kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment floors and work areas
• Organizing and stocking clean dishes and kitchen supplies
• Taking out garbage breaking down boxes and removing debris
• Keeping the dish area and surrounding spaces clean and organized
• Following food safety sanitation and safety procedures
• Communicating with your teammates and helping out where needed

This is hands-on physical work. Youll spend much of your shift on your feet and will occasionally lift heavier items. The kitchen can get busy and yes sometimes the work is messy. Thats part of working in a kitchen. Were looking for someone who doesnt mind getting their hands dirty and takes pride in leaving things better than they found them.

Most importantly youll be part of a team. Youll work alongside our cooks servers banquet team and other kitchen team members and your work will help them do their jobs well.

You dont need years of restaurant experience to be successful here. We can teach you our processes. What were really looking for is someone who is dependable willing to learn and takes pride in their work.
