Dishwasher

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of kitchenware including dishes silverware pots pans and trays.
• Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher.
• Store items in their proper spot and maintain a tidy and organized kitchen.
• Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions or requires maintenance.
• Clean equipment appliances storage area and sinks according to schedule.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep item restock or delivery of clean items when needed.
• Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction.
• Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating as requested.
• Maintain a clean orderly and safe kitchen environment as required by local and state health departments.
• Perform routine preventative cleaning on dish machine according to schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be age 16 or older
• Ability to read write and comprehend the English language

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
• Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
• Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing walking and moving about without the need to sit down
