Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes utensils and equipment. The dishwasher works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes pots pans and flatwareClean machines and appliances used in the kitchen (coffee makers pots and pans mixers etc.)Unload and store deliveriesSweeping and mopping floors especially if items are broken or spilledTaking out the trash and rinsing garbage cansFollow proper sanitation procedures per local health department regulationsReport kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and proceduresSupport other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as neededRequirements:Possess an upbeat personality a willingness to go the extra mile and a strong work ethicMaintain uniform standards when on job premisesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to verbally communicate in EnglishAbility to run and move quicklyAbility to stand for long periodsAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbsBe at least 18 years of ageBe able to pass a criminal background checkBe organized and have excellent time-management skills
