Why this role
Handle the financial heartbeat of real estate closings at one of Floridas leading real estate law firms. Every closing depends on wires moving accurately and on time and the Disbursement Specialist is the person who makes that happen. Its precision work with real stakes and at BPE youll have the processes technology and team support to do it well.
What youll do
Monitor and process daily incoming and outgoing funds including wire transfers. Enter outgoing wires into the banking system and secure required approvals before they go out. Review closing files authorized for disbursement and reconcile the disbursement ledger against closing documents to make sure every dollar matches. Print checks and obtain attorney signatures. Accurately disburse and mail proceeds payments to the right party every time. Support ad hoc projects and other duties as the practice requires.
What were looking for
Youre detail-obsessed and accuracy-driven disbursement work leaves no room for error and you treat every wire like it matters (because it does). Youre a strong multitasker who can prioritize a busy queue without losing focus. Youre dependable coachable and you follow directions carefully while still flagging issues when something looks off. Prior experience in disbursement wire processing escrow or real estate closings is a strong plus but not required.
Bonus points for: prior title company escrow or law firm disbursement experience; familiarity with closing software (SoftPro Qualia RamQuest); Notary Public commission; or bilingual English/Spanish.
