Scope & Volume

• Leadership Scope: 114 FTEs
• Surgical Volume: 9000 annual surgical cases 2000 annual endoscopic procedures
• Capacity: 10 active Operating Rooms

Areas of Responsibility

• Units: Main OR Havasu Ambulatory Surgery Center PreOp PACU Preadmission Testing Anesthesia Services and CSPD.
• Specialties: Orthopedics urology OB/GYN general surgery plastics ENT neurosurgery and podiatry.
• Multidisciplinary Staff: Surgeons anesthesia providers nurses and sterile processing technicians.

How youll contribute

ASurgical Services Director who excels in this role:

• Manages staff relations including performance management staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling staff development recruitment payroll and student engagements.

• Monitors departmental budgets regulatory compliance departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases monitors usage and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona RN license and possess a Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education:Masters degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred

• Experience:5years of surgical nursing and proven leadership experience in the surgical setting required.
