The Role

Terabaseis looking for an experiencedDirector Supply Chain. TheDirector Supply Chainis a key player on the product development team reporting to theCOOand will work closely with ourSCADA Software andR&D teamsto support the of develop products that will radically change how large-scale utility power plants are at the forefront of applying innovative techniques that will remove 70-80% of solar power plant assembly work from the field using a combination of advanced assembly and construction techniques customized equipment and automation.

Responsibilities

  • TheDirectorSupply Chainsrole is toidentifyand manage vendors domestically and a robust and resilient supply chain to support the development and commercialization ofTerabasesfieldassembly plants and associated technologies.
  • Establishsupplychain strategy forTerabasesField Assembly Factory andidentifyselectand manage domestic and international manufacturers and contract manufacturers.
  • Developexecuteand manage contracts and MSAs with key suppliers.
  • Provide New Product Introduction support forTerabasesfield assembly plants and associated technologies.


Requirements

MinimumQualifications

  • 10yearsexperiencein New Product Introduction and transition to sustainingmanufacturingespecially in high-tech product lines.
  • 10yearsexperiencesourcing qualifying and managing manufacturers and contract manufacturers both statewide and internationally.
  • Must have experience creating turnkey manufacturing solutions forhigh techproduct lines.
  • Musthavethoroughunderstanding of metal manufacturing and underlying cost structures and be able to evaluate and reverse engineer quotes.
  • Self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to meet domestic and international vendors as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience identifying and qualifying vendors of motors actuators and industrial controls
  • Expertiseworking with MRP and ERP systems is a plus
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously under constrained timelines

Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Within each posted range individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher) dependent on work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. The expected salary range for this role is $00 DOE.
