Job Summary
The Global Quality Organization sets strategy processes and standards that support Dematics mission. The mission aims for ongoing improvement by focusing on customers lowering expenses and creating technically advanced products and solutions delivered promptly with excellent quality.
The Strategy and Standards Quality role will ensure Quality department strategies are created and put into action emphasizing standardization new tool creation and improving Dematics Quality Culture. This culture encourages a prevention outlook cooperative work and customer focus.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $153000 - $224400 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Work in conjunction with the Global Quality Leader to build direct and sustain a comprehensive global Quality strategy aligned with enterprise business objectives.
Define strategic priorities focused on global standardization enterprise tool development (including AI enablement) and the advancement of a prevention-focused Quality culture across Dematic.
Own enterprise-level Quality deliverables encompassing strategy rollout operational efficiency and tangible business outcomes.
Provide executive-level updates to the Dematic Leadership Team on strategy progress risks and outcomes.
Influence and coordinate regional Quality leaders to guarantee uniform implementation and continuous improvement of global Quality strategy standards and cultural expectations.
Establish and own global governance models performance frameworks and accountability mechanisms to ensure regional and functional compliance and results.
Take responsibility for company-wide reduction of cost of poor quality margin improvement revenue protection and sustained customer happiness by implementing systemic prevention strategies.
Serve as a primary advisor to senior leadership on Quality standards enterprise tools strategic risks and trade-off decisions.
Build and continuously develop the Strategy and Standards Quality function including talent planning succession management and leadership growth to support future enterprise needs.
Lead enterprise culture-change initiatives that embed prevention accountability teamwork and continuous improvement across the Quality organization.
Define enterprise workflows decision rights operating rhythms and cross-functional engagement models to enable consistent execution and achievement of global and regional benchmarks.
Develop and manage Quality strategy budgets resource plans and multi-year business plans in partnership with the Global Quality Leader.
Ensure outstanding Quality practices across suppliers operations manufacturing projects customers and management systems through global standards and governance.
Monitor analyze and present enterprise Quality performance trends risks and forward-looking insights to executive leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Establish blocking issue paths decision frameworks and systemic solutions to ensure complex cross-functional Quality issues are resolved effectively and prevented from recurrence.
Define enterprise Quality measurement strategies scorecards and performance indicators to drive accountability and sustained improvement.
Enable enterprise learning by identifying standardizing and scaling guidelines across regions and functions.
What We are Looking For:
Preferred 10 years of relevant experience.
5 years of leadership experience in a global high-growth fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership capabilities align with Dematic and KION Core Values of Integrity Collaboration Courage and Excellence.
Experience in managing the quality of multiple large scale complex projects in a dynamic setting.
Experience in developing ISO compliant globally coordinated Quality Systems.
Proven experience in the use of improvement tools such as Lean SS 5S Value Stream/Process Mapping Kaizen Build of Experiments and/or other similar tools.
Proven experience driving an effective corrective action system.
Ability to travel approximately 25-35%.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience. A Masters Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
ASQ and/or PMP certifications preferred.
