About the role

The Director Product Management leads the Lennox Commercial HVAC product management organization. Reporting to the head of Marketing and Product this leader will oversee multiple end-market-aligned product pods and will be responsible for portfolio strategy long-range roadmap planning platform and architecture direction resource allocation stage-gate governance and overall business performance across the portfolio.

This role is ideal for a strategic and commercially strong product leader who can balance near-term results with long-term portfolio development build strong teams and drive growth through a disciplined operating model.

What you will do

  • Lead a 35 year product and technology roadmap including commercial rooftop units split systems controls and more.
  • Own strategic growth initiatives aligned to the product portfolio
  • Set portfolio strategy to drive revenue growth margin expansion market share portfolio vitality and customer NPS
  • Collaborate with business and functional leaders to allocate resources based on strategic priorities financial return and market opportunity
  • Guide platform and architecture strategy across product lines to improve scalability consistency and value creation
  • Sponsor and prioritize strategic growth initiatives and adjacent market opportunities
  • Provide input into potential inorganic growth opportunities including partnerships and acquisitions
  • Own NPI stage-gate governance to ensure our product development teams consistently deliver on their commitments.
  • Lead portfolio rationalization and lifecycle management
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of product managers instilling our core values and guiding behaviors
  • Partner cross-functionally with platform engineering controls engineering factory operations supply chain strategic sourcing finance sales marketing and customer support to deliver portfolio objectives

  • Portfolio revenue margin and market share targets are achieved
  • Product pods are aligned accountable and performing
  • New product commercialization and industrialization are successful
  • Portfolio complexity is managed and vitality improves
  • Platform leverage and roadmap quality improve over time

What you bring

  • 10 years of experience in product management product line management portfolio leadership or related business leadership roles
  • Demonstrated success at the director level including delivering business results and developing high-performing engaged teams.
  • Significant experience in industrial manufacturing and B2B durable goods
  • Proven success managing complex product portfolios with financial accountability
  • Strong strategic financial and commercial acumen driving near-term execution and long-term strategic results.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management and stage-gate product development
  • Ability to translate market opportunities into portfolio strategy and investment decisions
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
What We Are Looking For

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering business marketing or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Commercial HVAC experience is a plus

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
