Director on Duty-Part Time at the YMCA

Are you a dependable leader who enjoys creating a welcoming safe and positive environment The Ocean Community YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Director on Duty to oversee branch operations during assigned shifts support staff provide excellent member service and help ensure a safe clean and mission-driven facility. Hours include Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons with the potential for other days/times as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and support to staff during assigned shifts.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Respond to member concerns and emergency situations.
• Ensure facility safety cleanliness and adherence to YMCA policies.
• Assist with opening closing and daily branch operations.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to make sound decisions and respond calmly in emergency situations.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification-American Red Cross Preferred (YMCA willing to train)

Compensation & Benefits:
