WHAT YOULL BE DOING

As the Director of Supply Chain youll lead supply chain operations across a multi-site precast concrete manufacturing network spanning multiple states. Youll drive enterprise-wide improvements in purchasing inventory management production planning logistics and ERP-enabled processespartnering with operations leadership to improve service efficiency inventory performance cost control production reliability and scalability.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping supply chain strategy while also improving the day-to-day operating systems that support manufacturing execution. Youll help standardize how Jensen plans buys schedules manages inventory uses ERP data and measures performance across plants and distribution locations.

Reporting to: VP of Manufacturing

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

  • Lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategy across purchasing inventory management production planning logistics and ERP-enabled operations.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement across manufacturing and distribution locations to improve efficiency scalability service levels and operational performance.
  • Oversee production planning scheduling capacity management and work order processes to improve scheduling accuracy throughput and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with operations sales finance and executive leadership to align forecasting demand planning production schedules inventory optimization and customer delivery performance.
  • Establish and strengthen inventory control practices including inventory accuracy cycle counting turnover improvement and reduction of excess obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
  • Lead strategic sourcing supplier management cost reduction and supplier risk mitigation initiatives while strengthening key supplier partnerships.
  • Champion data-driven performance management through KPIs tied to service cost inventory production planning supplier performance and operational execution.
  • Drive ERP-enabled improvements across MRP BOMs routings scheduling inventory transactions system parameters and operational reporting.
  • Lead process standardization efforts across part numbering product definitions procurement workflows planning processes and supply chain best practices.
  • Serve as a key supply chain advisor to senior leadership on risks opportunities process improvements and investments that support long-term growth.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain Operations Engineering Business or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing; precast construction materials building products or heavy industrial experience preferred.
  • 5 years leading multi-site operations teams or cross-functional supply chain initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in ERP/MRP and core supply chain disciplines including BOMs routings production planning scheduling inventory control reorder points EOQs and related system parameters.
  • Strong understanding of production planning capacity management work order processes inventory accuracy and supplier performance management.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale multi-site supply chain transformation process standardization and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical operational and financial acumen with the ability to use data to identify issues prioritize action and improve business performance.
  • Excellent communication cross-functional collaboration and change leadership skills with the ability to influence plant leadership functional partners and executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on results-driven leader who can manage complexity prioritize competing initiatives and execute effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
