Job Summary

Primary Duties
Cybersecurity Program Management 30%
- Oversees all the programmatic operation and administrative functions in consultation with directors.
- Manages all aspects of the CyberCorps SFS program including student recruitment tracking and management sponsor reporting and communication.
- Supports all functions of the Cyber Clinic including operational financial and promotional activities.
- Continuously assesses programs effectiveness and recommends changes to content policies and procedures accordingly.
- Liaises with grant and development entities across campus including the sponsored projects office Foundation and college development directors.
- Assists NIC directors in drafting proposal narratives and development project budgets.
- Maintains records of key metrics achieved across all programs (publications number of attendees dates of key activities) with an eye towards documentation grant writing and sponsor reporting.
- Assists in the development of grant application materials; reviews grant package for completeness accuracy and conformance to grant requirements.
Community & Business Engagement 25%
- Builds and sustains partnerships with community organizations local and state government offices key stakeholders and national cybersecurity organizations to build awareness.
- Plans and implements events and functions that support the research and program goals including symposiums conferences webinars speaker series luncheons and VIP briefings.
- Represents the publicly in media at events and through key partnerships.
- Manages invitation lists and registration and provides onsite and/or online support for events.
- Coordinates with external event planning and other vendors.
Communications 20%
- Independently oversees a comprehensive communications program including written visual digital and electronic communications.
- Manages all external-facing communication channels including public relations the website and e-mail marketing.
- Represents the on campus and collaborates with campus partners including other departments on joint events and communications efforts.
- Assists and writes project reports to sponsors and donors.
- Communicates with university officials on requests.
- Leads day-to-day maintenance and updates to the website including creating content for news and events pages program updates team links etc.
- Collaborates with web team on all changes and updates.
Fiscal Management & Compliance 15%
- Oversees NIC grant budgets and expenditures ensuring appropriate fiscal stewardship.
- Tracks and monitors accounts for accurate and timely spending.
- Ensures that program expenditure and monitoring procedures are in compliance with sponsor and guidelines.
- Assists faculty in preparing purchase orders travel requests and other purchasing documents.
- Balances and reconciles issued credit cards in the appropriate university system(s) (e.g. Workday) including PI and Co-PI transactions in addition to the individual s own.
Supervision 10%
- Oversees the recruitment application process and onboarding of staff and student volunteers.
- Creates PDQs and executes volunteer agreements working closely with Human Resources Office.
- Manages staff and student volunteers trains mentors and coaches.
