Director of Nursing (RN) (ER)

The Director of Emergency Nursing delivers vital strategic and operational guidance across all urgent care and emergency this leadership role you will champion the design of progressive clinical programs advance patient safety outcomes and maintain fiscal and operational efficiency across the continuum of care. You will serve as a key collaborator alongside medical providers nursing staff and executive leadership to enhance clinical excellence and the overall patient experience.

• Serve as the accountable leader for all aspects of Emergency Services.

• Drive continuous improvement in outcomes cost of care and patient satisfaction.

• Partner with quality leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance toward becoming a highly reliable organization.

• Collaborate with other service line leaders facility leadership and system executives to provide consistent patient-centered care.

• Support provider and staff recruitment retention and engagement.

• Demonstrate values through inspirational leadership and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.

• Collaboration:Partner with physicians advanced practice providers and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination patient experience and service delivery.

• Oversees ongoing staff education competency and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards

• A minimum of5 years progressive leadership experiencein Emergency Services
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships team
• CurrentAlabama RN license(or eligible for licensure)
• No hits on nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives.
• BLS and ACLSrequired (or obtained within a defined timeframe)
• Experience with budgeting financial management and resource allocation in acute care settings.

• Prefers experience to be in the ER but need leadership experience
