Director of Nursing (DON)

Aston Park is seeking to hire a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff.
• Oversee the delivery of quality care to patients/residents in various healthcare settings.
• Manage and coordinate nursing operations including staffing scheduling and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines including Medicare regulations.
• Review and analyze documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff

Stay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing practice.

Qualifications (Minimum Job Requirements)

• Valid nursing license in the state of employment
• Degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.

Experience: Preferred prior experience in geriatric nursing; previous supervisory experience.

Specific skills/abilities:

• RN license currently licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.
• Certified or able to be certified in CPR.
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of nurses.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits:

• Base pay will depend upon experience.
• $10000 Sign-on bonus for benefited positions (Paid out in increments over two years of employment)
• Daily Pay available. Access to earned pay on a daily basis prior to the normal pay date.
