Job Summary
RM Management is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead the clinical operations of our assisted living community. This is an opportunity for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care mentoring clinical teams and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
As the Director of Nursing you will oversee all nursing services guide a dedicated care team collaborate with residents families physicians and community leaders and play a key role in creating an environment where residents can thrive with dignity independence and personalized support.

- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services within the community.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality person-centered care that promotes health safety and well-being.
- Assess residents upon admission and on an ongoing basis documenting and communicating changes in condition.
- Develop implement and update individualized care plans.
- Coordinate care with physicians pharmacies hospitals therapists families and other healthcare providers.
- Educate residents and families regarding health conditions treatments and care plans.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and clinical concerns.
- Participate in the nursing on-call rotation to ensure continuous clinical support.
- Lead mentor coach and support nursing staff to promote clinical excellence.
- Recruit train orient and develop nursing team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and education.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while ensuring quality outcomes.
- Foster a positive culture focused on accountability teamwork and resident-centered care.
- Maintain compliance with federal state and local regulations governing assisted living and nursing services.
- Oversee infection prevention and control programs.
- Review incidents medication variances and clinical concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation assessments and resident records.
- Monitor medication administration processes to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain required health records attendance tracking and regulatory documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living and healthcare services.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and basic computer applications.
- Current CPR First Aid and AED certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to urgent situations as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership or management experience.
- Experience working with older adults assisted living senior housing or long-term care populations.
- Experience with staff development quality assurance and regulatory surveys.
