As the Director of Lab Operations you will oversee the daily technical and scientific operations of clinical laboratories. You will manage laboratory budgets ensure rigorous adherence to CAP/federal/state regulations and lead strategic initiatives to expand service lines. This role requires a strong leader capable of mentoring team members and driving high-performance outcomes.

• Operational Leadership: Direct daily technical and scientific laboratory operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards (CAP federal and state).

• Financial Management: Manage laboratory lanes to budget through effective cost-savings initiatives productivity tracking and capital resource management.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to comprehensive quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs.

• Team Development: Mentor and develop staff driving employee engagement and fostering continuous competency and performance improvement.

• Strategic Projects: Lead the development expansion and execution of new service lines and long-term strategic projects.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related sciences required; Masters degree in business or relevant sciences preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of laboratory management experience dealing with high-complexity and high-volume testing.

• Certifications: Medical Technologist registry (ASCP NCA AAB or equivalent) is required.

• Licensure: Florida Supervisor license is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
