Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Director of Human Resources to join our team in Arizona! Rehabilitation Hospital of Peoria (Peoria AZ) A specialized 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility located in the northwest Phoenix metro area. The hospital provides intensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from neurological conditions trauma and orthopedic surgeries. With a focus on individualized therapy plans and measurable outcomes the clinical team is dedicated to helping patients achieve maximum independence. HR Director Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle payroll leave administration and employee safety processes Coordinate new hire onboarding process. Facilitate employee communications for monthly new hire orientation including coordinating and scheduling with employees and presenters. Conduct presentations on HR policies and procedures wellness and benefit plans. Collaborate with recruiting team to ensure timely hires and onboarding. Plan and lead employee engagement recognition retention and wellness initiatives. Provide guidance regarding employee performance coaching corrective action investigations and conflict resolution. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation Process new hires and status changes timely Ensure accuracy of employee data Workday Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws and regulations. Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of employment law HR best practices and healthcare regulatory requirements. Exceptional leadership collaborator communication coaching and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Minimum of three (3) years experience in HR Management role required. Workday experience is strongly preferred. HR Certification preferred. Bachelors degree in related discipline preferred.
