Job Description: The Director of Human Resources is a vital member of the HR team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Office and administration of the Colleges benefit addition to serving as a generalist the Director supports development of the HR team and plans and coordinates HR related events and activities. Under the direction of the AVP for Human Resources (or designated administrator) the Director performs professional level duties to support compliance with Title V Title VI and Title IX including oversight of training grievances and related concerns. The Director is also well-versed in data gathering reporting and analytics to monitor HR compliance IPEDS program performance trends and outcomes and to support informed decision making. Requirements: Education Required: Bachelors degree or higher in Business Human Resources or the equivalent. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years experience working in a Human Resource office setting coordinating workers compensation recruitment FMLA disability and health-related benefits. Supervisory experience. Knowledge of labor relations employee-management disputes negotiating labor contracts and coordinating grievance procedures.
