Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee The Olympia Companies. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.
The Director of Guest Services primary role is to directly oversee the safe and efficient operation of the front office - maximizes profitability and ensures high levels of guest satisfaction are achieved. This position provides training support and resources to the front desk reservations PBX concierge and valet staff. Additionally will work with all departments to ensure compliance and hotel standards are meeting brand and guest expectations.
Qualifications:
3 years of guest services department head or similar managerial experience required; management or previous supervisory experience preferred; associate degree and/or equivalent work experience; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
