This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to our ambitious sustainability strategy and make a real difference in our Operations department.
TheDirector of Facilities provides strategic operational and organizational leadership for the sitesFacilitiesfunction in support of manufacturing laboratory warehouse and office operations. This role is responsible for directing the operation of site facilities maintenance and utilities as well as project execution to ensure safe reliable cost-effective and technologically efficient support for site operations.
The role is future-focused and accountable for advancing site infrastructure capabilities throughmaster planning asset lifecycle management energy optimization digital enablement continuous improvement and organizational capability building. The Director ensures the function has the appropriate structure talent training governance and oversight needed to meet operational and regulatory expectations without compromising quality.
-This position is 5 days/week M-F onsite
-Director of 24/7 shift teams (4 teams) supporting Preventative Maintenance; Corrective Maintenance calibrations and work orders
-This position will require flexing of hours to cover periodic all-hands meetings and shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are representative of the role and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Lead the Facilities functionwith responsibility for facilities operations maintenance utilities engineering support and technical services across the site.
- Direct engineering support to existing operationsand provide leadership for new capital construction installation commissioning and infrastructure improvement activities.
- Ensure reliable utility and facility operationsin support of manufacturing laboratory warehouse and office areas with accountability for uptime service responsiveness compliance and operational continuity.
- Develop and complete the site facilities strategy in alignment with business objectives regulatory requirements and long-range site master planning.
- Support site master planning activities including infrastructure capacity planning asset strategies future expansion readiness and long-term capital planning.
- Prepare lead and be responsible for capital and operating budgets including forecasting prioritization resource allocation and financial performance tracking.
- Lead site energy conservation and sustainability efforts including identification and execution of initiatives that improve energy efficiency reduce utility consumption and provide important financial savings.
- Drive Lean reliability-based maintenance and continuous improvement initiativesto improve asset performance reduce downtime optimize maintenance strategies and enhance service delivery.
- Establish departmental goals policies procedures and performance standardsthat support efficient operations and alignment with organizational and company policies.
- Act as a senior advisor to subordinate leaders and staff helping resolve technical operational scheduling resource and organizational challenges.
- Ensure appropriate staffing qualifications training and practical experienceacross the function so that departmental responsibilities are carried out effectively and without compromising quality or oversight.
- Maintain strong governance over processes personnel and procedures to ensure appropriate accountability operational focus within the subject area and support for critical site functions.
- Provide cross-functional leadership and customer managementwith manufacturing quality technical operations laboratories EHS supply chain finance procurement and senior site leadership.
- Represent the department in internal and external meetings including technical reviews operational briefings contractor meetings and senior leadership discussions.
- Interpret implement and recommend modifications to organizational and company policiesbased on operational needs business priorities and future-state goals.
- Influence long-range goals and organizational objectivesrelated to infrastructure engineering support operational readiness and site growth.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree inEngineeringor a related technical discipline
- 10 years of significant experience infacilities engineering maintenance utilities capital projects or technical operations
- 5 years of leadership experience in aGMP-regulated environmentsupporting manufacturing and/or laboratory operations
- Experience handlingcapital projects operating budgets and contract service providers
- Experience leading teams throughmanagers supervisors or senior technical leaders
- Demonstrated knowledge offacilities systems utility operations maintenance programs and engineering support functions
Experience leading Quality record management on deviations OPT (out of process tolerance)
Experience coordinating with scheduling team for routine and exceptional activities and repairs
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree inEngineering Business Operations or related field
- Experience supportingpharmaceutical biologics or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience insite master planning infrastructure strategy and asset lifecycle management
- Formal experience withLean Six Sigma reliability-centered maintenance or operational excellence programs

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a combination ofoffice manufacturing laboratory warehouse utility and construction environments. The annual base pay for this position ranges from $141750- $212626. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and addition our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles) and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
