The Wolcott Board of Education is accepting applications for the following position:

Title: Director of Facilities

Wolcott Public Schools seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as our Facilities Director. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in project management and/or supervisory roles in facilities management or a related field. The Facilities Directors work is critical to providing students and staff with clean safe and well-maintained schools and grounds. Because the Facilities Director has a wide variety of important responsibilities the position requires a flexible workday and calendar. This position has a seat on the Superintendents cabinet as well as school building and facilities planning committees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervision and scheduling of all custodial and maintenance staff
• Budget preparation and oversight
• Planning and procuring necessary equipment and resources for custodial and maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with a wide variety of state and federal regulations
• Close collaboration with school administrators the athletics director and the superintendent
• Assessing designing and monitoring a wide variety of projects carried out by outside vendors
