Director Data Strategy & Solutions (Hybrid Boston MA / Chicago IL)

Were looking for an experienced Director of Data Strategy & Solutions to lead enterprise data initiatives and build scalable data platforms that drive business growth and analytics.

Lead enterprise data strategy and governance initiatives
Design and implement scalable data architecture and modern data pipelines
Build and optimize ETL/ELT solutions using SQL Python and cloud technologies
Partner with business technology and third-party data providers to deliver high-impact solutions
Drive data quality automation and operational excellence across the organization

8 years of experience with SQL and relational databases
4 years of Python development experience
Strong experience with Azure AWS Snowflake or similar cloud platforms
Background in Asset Management/Financial Services (required)
Experience with data engineering data architecture governance ETL/ELT and large-scale data ecosystems
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and third-party financial data providers is a plus
Experience with AI-powered workflows custom GPTs or agent-based solutions is highly desirable
