Job Summary
Responsibilities
The Defense Mission and Health Solutions team Beneļ¬ts Claims & Integrity Solutions Operating Unit seeks a Director of Data Analytics and Reporting to support our Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) customer delivery and be part of the leadership for CMS Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) initiatives. The successful candidate leads the strategy development and execution of enterprise-wide analytics data visualization and reporting capabilities. This role oversees teams responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency strategic decision-making and organizational performance. The director partners closely with business leaders IT and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data quality governance and alignment to organizational priorities.
What youll do:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for analytics business intelligence (BI) and enterprise
- Lead mentor and develop analytics professionals data analysts BI developers and reporting
- Oversee the design development and maintenance of dashboards KPI frameworks automated reports and analytical models.
- Ensure accuracy integrity and security of data through strong data governance
- Collaborate with executives and business units to understand requirements and deliver insight-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and implement analytics technologies including data visualization tools ETL/ELT processes and cloud platforms.
- Drive adoption of data-informed decision-making across the organization through training and best practices.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in data Analytics Computer Science Statistics Business or a related
- 8-10 years of experience in analytics reporting or BI with at least 5 years in a leadership
- Expertise with BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Qlik) SQL and modern data
- Strong understanding of data governance data modeling and analytics best
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage complex cross-functional
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business
US Citizen and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
