Job Summary
Compensation Range: $90000 - $110000 yearly commensurate with experience

Overview:
The Director of Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for strategic corporate cultivation and stewardship agency-wide including increasing sponsor revenue across all of Housing Works signature events and developing engagement strategies to increase non-sponsor collaboration with the VP of Development Director of Events Volunteer Marketing and Thrift Departments the position will manage corporate donor relationships to ensure meaningful engagement opportunities the retention and growth of sponsor/corporate revenue and the cultivation of new corporate partnerships.
KPIs include the following:
- Reach or exceed all event sponsorship goals.
- Increase corporate revenue by at least 30% annually.
- Identify and initiate contact with a minimum 3-5 new corporate partners per quarter.
- Convert 70% of new corporate prospects into donors.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage an existing portfolio of major corporate donors with focus on soliciting and closing renewals and identifying new corporate prospects.
- Develop and implement effective and proven sales and engagement strategies that retain and increase corporate sponsorship revenue across Housing Works signature fundraising events (The Groundbreaker Awards Design on a Dime Fashion for Action and Braking AIDS etc.) signature initiatives and new opportunities.
- Create detailed sponsor pipelines for each event including timelines for solicitation.
- Identify new partners through comprehensive prospect research and prospect management including prospect identification prioritization biographical and financial research and capacity analysis.
- Integrate corporate volunteer engagement into the development department taking the lead on outreach to new corporate prospects and working with the Volunteer Coordinator to manage the engagement experience; activate corporate matching gifts and grant opportunities in lieu of or addition to event sponsorships.
- Deepen and increase support from existing vendor relationships across Housing Works departments with a focus on increasing support from healthcare finance and real estate industries.
- Collaborate with various program teams to identify new corporate visibility opportunities outside of fundraising events (YPS Undetectables other healthcare initiatives housing portfolio)
- Collaborate with Housing Works social enterprise businesses including Thrift and Cannabis Co. to develop visibility opportunities and cultivate vendor partners of those businesses.
- Develop compelling collateral that effectively communicates corporate engagement opportunities at Housing Works.
- Work with Director of Events and Communications Coordinator to ensure partner visibility in all marketing and communications develop new creative ways to elevate partner visibility and ensure on-site event activations are implemented.
- Collaborate with Data team to ensure partner opportunities contacts and revenue are updated in Salesforce.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP with developing all event budgets and revenue targets.
- Manage logistics of all corporate partnerships including invoicing and timely payments guest lists etc.
- Actively contribute to event production needs as related to corporate involvement.
- Attend appropriate in-person and virtual networking events benefits and social events to broaden network and foster lead generation.
- Participate in all on-site event productions.
- Work with VP to produce detailed reporting and analysis for all event sponsorship revenue and in relation to above mentioned KPIs for this role.
Other functions that may be required with this position include:
- Contribute to other Development team activities as needed and requested.
Requirements:
- BA/BS required
- A minimum of 5 years of donor relationship management experience preferably with a corporate portfolio.
- Strong sales/development experience; demonstrated record of success and ability to close gifts.
- Skill and experience in strategic planning setting goals and managing performance; must possess and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and relevant CSR trends.
- Superior communications skill including leading presentations to diverse audiences.
- Creative critical thinker with demonstrated ability to maintain accountability work independently and creatively while functioning as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong detail-oriented organizational and follow-through skills as well as exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional computer software skills including MS Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel to appointments meetings conferences etc. for job-related business.

- Experience with and proven commitment to working with low-income and marginalized communities as well as individuals with multiple chronic medical and/or behavioral health conditions.
Essential Physical Demands/ Working Conditions:
- Must be able to remain in stationary position 75-80% of the time.
- Frequently required to stand walk and/or traverse work locations.
- Constantly operates computer cell phone and other office equipment.
- Person in this position frequently communicates with staff volunteers donors and vendors on all matters related to event management/fundraising.
- Must be able to exchange accurate/concise information in these situations.
