Director of Construction Technology

The Director of Construction Technology willevaluateidentify and execute GMF Steel Groups construction technology strategy in support of the companys operational and long-term businessobjectives. They will lead and mentor stafffosteringprofessional developmentand continuous improvement.The Director will overseethe planning deployment coordination and management of construction technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and performance.As a champion of innovation they will drive technology adoptionacross the organization and ensure solutionssupportthe companys strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives and implementations of new construction technologies

• Recommend technology investments based on GMFs goals and return on investment

• Remainknowledgeable ofcurrent fieldoperations and industry practicesandidentifyhow technology can beleveragedmore effectively

• Establish guidelines and procedures to ensure effectiveutilizationacross departments

• Attend conferences and researchnew updatesto software and equipment

• Have a strong understanding of heavy commercial construction processes and terminology

• Comprehensive understanding of construction technology and ability to quickly master new software quickly

• Lead and mentor staff to support growth and department success

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

• Minimum five years of experience working in the AEC industry

• Proven knowledge in Tekla Structures Trimble ProcoreBlueBeam

• Experience in Project Controls Cost Management andForecastingis preferred

• Experience managing direct reports

• Strong written and oral communication; experience in teaching training and presentations.
