A leading Healthcare facilityin Mayfield KY is seeking a senior-level Director of Case Management to lead its case management this key leadership role you will oversee and direct the hospitals case management department ensuring effective coordination of patient care utilization management discharge planning and operational excellence.
This position requires a combination of strong clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated experience managing case management operations within a healthcare setting.
- Departmental Leadership: Oversee daily case management operations driving clinical care coordination utilization review and discharge planning.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement departmental goals policies and clinical standards aligned with organizational requirements.
- Quality & Performance: Direct and evaluate departmental processesincluding patient care delivery service levels and complaint managementto achieve quality control standards.
- Team Management: Direct staffing activities including hiring orientation evaluations ongoing training and professional development.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Prepare monitor and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Foster a supportive environment for staff growth while integrating evidence-based practices into clinical protocols and workflows.
- Licensure: Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Direct Case Management experience within a healthcare environment.
- Certification: ACMA (Accredited Case Manager) Certification required (or must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
- Leadership: Prior leadership/management experience within a Case Management department.
