Hacienda Del Sol Resort is seeking a highly organized and experiencedDirector ofBanquets to oversee all banquet operations at our esteemed resort in Tucson AZ. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional event experiences ensuring seamless coordination and outstanding guest satisfaction.

• Plan organize and execute all banquet events including weddings corporate functions and private parties.
• Manage banquet staff including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team sales department and other resort staff to ensure successful event delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
• Monitor budgets manage inventory and ensure profitability of banquet operations.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations.
• Continuously improve banquet services by gathering guest feedback and implementing effective solutions.

• Proven experience in banquet management or related hospitality leadership role.
• Strong organizational communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting scheduling and inventory control.
• Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of banquet operations health and safety standards and event planning software.
• Proven training and computer skills with ability to to effectively use Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. MICROS and Opera experience a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time and the ability to work indoors and outdoors
