Job Description

The Director of Accreditation Assessment and Analytics provides strategic and operational leadership for accreditation program assessment and decision-support analytics across the College of Business Engineering and Technology. The Director is the colleges liaison to accrediting bodies leads comprehensive and continuous improvement processes facilitates program assessment and develops data infrastructure and dashboards that inform student success and retention initiatives. The role partners closely with department chairs program leads assessment coordinators faculty committees university assessment ITS and the Provosts Office.

Program Accreditation Strategy and Execution

  • Oversee and coordinate accreditation processes policies timelines evidence collection self-study drafting and site visits for program level accreditations within the college (e.g. AACSB ABET CoAPCR).

  • Serve as college liaison to accreditors for annual reporting and maintenance activities and ensure delivery of submissions on schedule and to standards.

  • Coordinate with program-level accreditation leads and committees and maintain a college accreditation calendar

  • Serve as system administrator for the faculty qualification database and responsible for faculty training and ensuring complete and accurate data entry that feeds into accreditation reports.

Program Academic Assessment and Assurance of Learning

  • Serve as the assessment subject matter expert for the college.

  • Coordinate a coherent assessment framework across programs that align outcomes curriculum maps rubrics data collection and closing-the-loop actions.

  • Facilitate assessment committees and set assessment cycles and reporting expectations at program department and college levels.

  • Provide training and consultation on assessment strategies rubric design and use of results for student learning improvement.

  • Maintain assessment data systems and evidence repository.

Analytics and Decision Support

  • Deliver end-user requirement specifications for IT as they build custom PowerBI and other reports that capture needed data related to enrollment management student success program accreditation faculty qualifications teaching effectiveness and research productivity.

  • Consult with college leadership program leads/department chairs and others on student retention and success based on report results.

  • Use report results to make recommendations to college/program leadership related to advising student support scheduling and curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree plus three years of advanced professional experience in program accreditation academic assessment institutional effectiveness institutional research or a closely related area in higher education.

  • Demonstrated expertise with assessment design rubrics and closing the loop practices.

  • Proficiency with data and analytical tools such as Power BI Excel and assessment management experience

  • Strong project management communication facilitation and change management skills.

  • Ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualification

  • Masters degree and five or more years of experience with specialized accreditation in business engineering technology or clinical research programs including successful site visits.

  • Experience with curriculum mapping course embedded assessment and program review.

  • Advanced proficiency in analytics and data modeling including SQL or comparable data preparation tools.
