Director of Accounting

A well-established global manufacturer with a long-tenured US leadership team is seeking a Director of Accounting to join its Los Angeles headquarters. This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Controller with broad ownership of the accounting function across multiple legal entities and countries.

The Role

You will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple legal entities spanning multiple countries including month-end close account reconciliations consolidations intercompany accounting technical accounting and coordination with the external audit team. You will also serve as a key liaison with the international parent company on reporting requirements.

This role is built for someone who wants to grow the expectation is that the right candidate develops into the Controller over time.

What Were Looking For

• CPA required (active or inactive)
• Big 4 or national firm foundation OR a career built in accounting at large complex manufacturing companies
• Strong technical accounting background journal entries reconciliations close process consolidations
• Multi-entity and international experience a plus
• ERP proficiency preferred
• 10 years of progressive accounting experience
