Director Nursing

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

As our Director of Nursing (DON) you will help shape the future of nursing care within our organization so you can empower dedicated nursing professionals and champion patient well-being in our community.

Every day you willprovide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all nursing services to ensure clinical excellence and innovative care delivery. You will be expected tolead and mentor the nursing team develop and implement best practices manage departmental budgets and resources and foster a culture of quality safety and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you mustbe an inspiring and collaborative nursing leader with a proven track record in clinical excellence strategic management and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership direction and oversight for all nursing operations and services.
• Develop implement and evaluate nursing policies procedures and patient care standards.
• Recruit hire onboard train and conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff.
• Oversee departmental budgeting resource allocation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Drive initiatives for patient well-being quality improvement and clinical innovation within nursing.

We are offering a $20000 Sign-On Bonusto new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the discipline
  • Masters Degree in Nursing Masters must be obtained within two (2) years of start
• ORMasters in Nursing
  • Five (5) years of leadership experience.
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Candidates must have an RN license that allows them to practice in the state of North Dakota (compact license or license issued by the ND Board of Nursing).
  
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
