ABOUT THE TEAM
As we scale production across multiple sites maintenance isnt an afterthought; its the backbone that keeps high-throughput automation-heavy factories running. Were standing up a central maintenance function from a blank sheet of paper and we need a leader to own it end to end.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Build and lead Andurils central maintenance function and Center of Excellence from the ground updefining the standards policies and best practices that every site will run on.
- Recruit develop and lead a team of maintenance professionals spanning administrative tactical and strategic roles.
- Partner with site-specific maintenance leaders providing oversight mentorship and a consistent operating model across locations.
- Design and deploy systems for work order management preventative maintenance equipment selection and asset tracking.
- Support the launch of new and Greenfield facilities and lead maintenance for automation initiatives.
- Own documentation calibration and upkeep of tooling and equipment across the network.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes reliability and performance management.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with manufacturing controls engineering and automation teamsand roll up your sleeves on the shop floor when it counts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 days a week working onsite
- 1015 years of maintenance experience ideally in manufacturing environments.
- Role can be based out of Columbus OH or Costa Mesa CA with up to 50% travel to support standing up Manufacturing Maintenance across all Anduril sites.
- Demonstrated experience building maintenance standards and systems from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with OEMs automated equipment and standing up Greenfield or early-stage manufacturing facilities.
- Background in automotive aerospace or heavy industry (e.g. Caterpillar Boeing Tier 1 suppliers).
- Skilled-trades background or engineering experience paired with a hands-on approach.
- Proven ability to operate at both the strategic and shop-floor levels.
- Strong leadership communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of tooling calibration and work order systems.
- Track record managing multiple sites and building scalable maintenance frameworks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience setting up or managing maintenance for automation-heavy facilities.
- 35 years in a startup or fast-growing company environment.
US Salary Range
$220000 - $290000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
