Director

• Directing and driving the business group toward achieving technical objectives and financial goals based on short-term and long-term client requirements and division business plans
• Setting and communicating clear goals expectations process and direction for leaders within the business group ensuring a balance between tactical actions and the liability of results as well as alignment with SRCs value and culture
• Planning forecasting managing and tracking all business group programs schedules budgets and staffing
• Actively identifying additional follow-on/natural extension tasking with existing customers as well as pursues new business opportunities and negotiates agreements for business expansion with a variety of customers
• Developing marketing strategies and proposing long-range business plans
• Acting as liaison with government agencies offices SRC executive leadership and directors

• This job requires a minimum of a Masters degree and fifteen years work related experience
  or a PhD degree and twelve years work related experience in a relevant technical discipline
  or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In relation to other jobs in the same function this job requires a senior level of proficiency to
  apply significant job-related experience. This job may assist others as a lead practitioner
• The primary or most necessary skills required for this job are leadership skills
• Other important skills include communication strategic planning business skills computer skills
