Job Description Summary

Dauch is seeking a Director HRIS to join our world-class team. This role is located at our World Headquarters in Detroit MI.

The Director HRIS will lead the strategy governance and execution of DAUCHs global HR technology ecosystem with primary ownership of Workday and related platforms. This role is critical in supporting the companys ongoing integration efforts driving process harmonization across legacy organizations and enabling scalable data-driven Talent and HR operations across regions (US/Brazil Mexico Europe Asia).

This leader will partner closely with Information Technology (IT) HR Transformation Payroll and broader HR Centers of Excellence to ensure seamless system integration particularly in support of global payroll harmonization and end-to-end HR process alignment. This role requires occasional travel both domestically and internationally to support global HRIS initiatives system implementations and stakeholder engagement across regions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A integration system harmonization or transformation programs within automotive/manufacturing environments. Additionally this person will have experience with multi-country payroll environments and vendors.

Job Description:

  • Define and execute the global HRIS strategy aligned with DAUCHs transformation and integration roadmap.

  • Own governance of HR systems including Workday roadmap releases and enhancements.

  • Establish standardized data governance system controls and reporting structures.

  • System Implementation & Integration.

  • Lead ongoing Workday deployment optimization and stabilization efforts.

  • Drive integration of payroll systems into the global HRIS architecture ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency.

  • Partner with IT and Payroll teams to enable end-to-end system integration across HR and Payroll platforms.

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Serve as the primary HRIS partner to IT aligning on system architecture integrations and technology roadmap.

  • Collaborate closely with HR Transformation teams to enable process standardization and digital enablement.

  • Partner with Payroll leadership to Integrate disparate payroll systems into a cohesive scalable model ensure alignment between HRIS data structures and payroll requirements and support global payroll harmonization initiatives.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR leadership and business leaders on technology-enabled solutions.

  • Enable robust HR analytics and reporting capabilities.

  • Provide insights to support: Workforce planning Talent decision-making Executive reporting (SteerCo leadership reviews).

  • Ensure data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems.

  • Manage HR technology vendor landscape (Workday and related third-party tools).

  • Ensure contract performance cost optimization and service quality.

  • Lead and develop a global HRIS team.

  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between HR IT Payroll and Transformation teams.

  • Perform other duties as required to support regional and organizational projects and objectives.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelors degree in HR Information Systems Business or related field.

  • 15 years of experience in HRIS / HR Technology leadership.

  • Deep expertise in HR Systems (implementation optimization governance) experience with Workday preferred.

  • Strong experience with HRISPayroll integration and HR data architecture.

  • Proven track record partnering with IT and leading cross-functional system integrations.

  • Experience leading global HRIS teams and multi-region environments.
