Director Enterprise Risk Management

Empath Health is seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Enterprise Risk Management to lead the design implementation and oversight of our enterprise-wide risk framework. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer this role plays a critical part in safeguarding our organizations people patients reputation and operations.

This leader will partner across clinical operational and executive teams to proactively identify and manage risk strengthen a culture of safety and drive data-informed decision-making. What youll Do

• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments identifying prioritizing and mitigating risks across clinical and operational areas
• Design and implement a comprehensive ERM framework including risk appetite key risk indicators and governance processes
• Analyze incident and risk data to identify trends drive root cause analysis and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies
• Partner with executive leadership legal finance and clinical teams to support insurance programs claims management and safety initiatives
• Develop and deliver clear actionable risk reporting for senior leaders and the Board of Directors

What Youll Need

• 7 years of risk management experience including 5 years in healthcare environments
• Bachelors degree required; Masters degree or professional certification (CPHRM CRM CERA etc.) preferred
• Demonstrated experience building or leading ERM frameworks in complex organizations
• Strong analytical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to translate complex risk data into clear insights and executive-level reporting
