Mercy Fort Smith has recently completed a $162 million expansion creating one of the most advanced emergency care environments in the region:

• Emergency Department expanded from 29 to 50 treatment rooms

• ICU expanded from 38 to 64 beds

• Capacity to support approximately 25000 additional patient visits annually

• 74000 annual ED visits

• Level III Trauma Center

The Director of Emergency Services provides strategic and operational leadership for a fast-paced Emergency Department ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care while advancing organizational goals regulatory compliance trauma standards and emergency medicine best practices.

Working closely with physicians EMS partners trauma leadership and interdisciplinary teams youll lead a highly engaged team focused on improving outcomes enhancing the patient experience and supporting the growing healthcare needs of our community.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Current RN licensure in the applicable state of practice

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing

• 3-5 years of leadership or administrative experience

• 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience

Preferred

• Masters Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field
