Hourly Rate:Starts at $19.62

Sign-On Bonus: Earn $500 after six (6) months of full-time employment and an additional $500 after nine (9) months of full-time employment.

Position Summary

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide direct care to the individuals supported in The Arc Rocklands Residential program. As a DSP youll do more than just provide care youll make a meaningful impact by helping individuals live fulfilling lives. The role of a DSP is shaped around the unique needs and interests of the people you support. Whether its cooking a favorite meal gardening together enjoying music or exploring new hobbies youll have the chance to create experiences that matter.

Roles Responsibilities

Collaborate with individuals and potentially their families to plan and implement activities that reflect their goals and interests

Assist with daily living needs including personal care transportation medication administration and community outings

Provide support and encouragement to help individuals achieve personal milestones and live as independently as possible

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Valid New York State drivers license with a clean driving record

Drivers license must have been active for a minimum of two (2) years
