Direct Support Professional PT Weekends (Evenings)

PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour (Depending on years of experience)ââ

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.ââ

Work Schedule:ââ Saturday and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM

A Day inthe Life:ââ

Youllspend your daysassistingwith care to a group of people who enjoy:âââ

• Relaxing at home
• Watching TVâ
• Participate 2xs a month in the community

This group is looking for someone who is kind dependable a good communicator and most of allsomeone who enjoys spending time with them. Ifyouresomeone who takes joy in building real connections and being presentinthe momentyoullthrive here.ââ

HowYoullSupport:ââ

• Provide full support with daily routines such astotal hygiene care cooking cleaning laundry housekeeping transporting to and from dayprogramsDrs. Appointments and medicationadministrationetc.
• Help promote independenceââ
• Be patient and respectful in action and speakingâ
• Advocate for each persons rights and help build their confidence and sense of selfââ
• Keep clear respectful records to ensure continuity of care and supportââ

MinimumRequirements:ââ

• Mustbe at least 21 years oldââ
• Valid drivers license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 pointsââ
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles andassistingpeople who use wheelchairsââ
• Able tolift upto 75 pounds stand forlong periods and provide physicalassistancewhen neededââ
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)ââ
