Once a conditional offer is made and a background check has been completed if SAILS Washington is concerned about a conviction that is directly related to the job we reserve the right to withdraw the offer of :SAILS Washington employs appropriate individuals who ensure a high standard of quality and safety in the delivery of Residential Services and who coordinate the provision of services consistent with SAILS Washington philosophy of DIEM:Per Diem roles are on-call or as needed with the ability to pick up OPEN shifts or COVER as Diem employees are required to pick up a minimum of (1) shift per week or (2) shifts per pay period to be considered an employee of SAILS Washington per our Diem employees can work up to (31) hours a week but cannot work more or will be considered a Full-Time employee and will have to move into Full-time status working a block hours will not be accrued with this position. Previously accrued PTO hours cannot be used while in this role as your shifts will not be order to use PTO hours you have to request PTO 2 weeks in advance for scheduled shifts. Per Diem employees will continue to accrue Sick time at 1 hour for every 40 hours to Staffing & Development Program ManagerDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under the supervision of the Area Director Management team and Scheduling Program Manager; the Per-Diem Direct Support Professional:Provides support to program participants that meets their needs provides opportunities for community integration including swimming and creates a nurturing safe and healthful living check in weekly with the Scheduling Program Manager in regards to open shifts for the pick up shifts at multiple programs but needs to orient themselves to plans in the program before working with have all training before becoming a Per Diem keep up to date with all training with our Training complete Per Diem checklist and training on a monthly be familiar with the Residential Service Guidelines issued by the Division of Developmental clients with dignity and each participant with an array of instruction and support services as described in the participants Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP).Ensures that the daily needs of the participants are met including personal hygiene food preparation house cleaning shopping and monitoring of health needs including supervision of participants with regularly accessing the community to take part in a variety of outings of the participants choosing. This may require transporting participants or arranging for that participants are treated with dignity and consideration at all times. Promotes and safeguards each participants ability to make decisions and to freely exercise his or her with participants provides informal counseling and problem-solving with staff meetings as required by the Program Supervisor or the Site Supervisor and/or training offered/required by the agency DDD and other part in the development and implementation of the IISP for each participant with whom they become Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) at employees own expense initially and enroll and complete the Nurse Delegation study course and take tests within 30 days of necessary support and supervision of professional working relationships with other services providers the participants parents/relatives/guardians and other agency staff.
