Self-Direction DSP - Cleveland Ny Area (Job #LB-BT)

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Cleveland area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with meal preparation going out into the community for crafts/exercise or other activities that the individual is interested in participating in.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable patient energetic and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus but not transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Work hours are Monday through Friday during the day hours are flexible based on preference of individual and applicant. The pay rate is $25.50 per hour. This is a part-time position with a maximum number of hours of 31 per week. Indera is an Equal Opportunity Employer. • Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Inderastechnology policy.
