Job Summary

Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team in Waldorf MD to provide dedicated care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting during specific shifts. The role requires working Monday 2pm-10pm Thursday and Friday 10pm-8am and Saturday 10pm-8am.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist residents with personal care tasks including grooming bathing and dressing.
2. Support individuals with meal preparation medication administration and other daily living activities per their care plans.
3. Encourage residents to engage in community activities and social interactions.
4. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
5. Document and report any changes in residents health or behavior promptly.
6. Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being and safety of residents.
7. Uphold residents rights and dignity at all times.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Previous experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with disabilities.
3. Effective communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with residents and team members.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
5. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a team.
7. Completion of all required trainings.
8. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
9. Valid drivers license reliable transportation and car insurance required.

Compensation:
- Hourly rate of $21 Monday to Friday.
- Additional $2 weekend shift differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
