Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Support individuals with daily living activities including cooking dressing grooming and household routines
• Encourage independence personal choice problem-solving and achievement of individual goals
• Help people participate in community activities and build meaningful relationships
• Monitor and report physical emotional and behavioral needs to the care team
• Administer medications and follow individual medical and support plans
• Implement behavior-support plans using positive respectful approaches
• Maintain a safe clean welcoming environment
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate important updates with the team
